Bread for the World

Bread for the World is an all-ages collective of Christian voices urging our nation’s leaders to end hunger at home and abroad.

As a congregation, we participate in an annual Offering of Letters and seek to educate ourselves on issues of hunger. This will take place on Sunday, October 14, 2018.

Empowering Life

This faith-based non-profit works to support the incarcerated woman at Washington Corrections Center in Purdy and at Mission Creek Center for Women in Belfair.

St. Mark’s members have the opportunity to worship with the women of WCCW twice each month.

Nativity House

St. Mark’s serves a mid-day meal every 4th Saturday to an average of 200 people at this drop-in day shelter in Tacoma. Families serve together and make a difference in the lives of others.

Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services and Lutheran Community Services NW

In partnership with Lutheran Community Services Northwest, we are helping with refugee resettlement efforts, responding to needs such as transportation, housing, English language tutoring, school support, and more.
