As people of faith, worship is central to our weekly communion with God and with the Body of Christ in the communities where we live. During this time when public gatherings are suspended at St. Mark’s, we will not be able to share the experience of being physically present with each other in corporate worship, but we are trusting that God will be able to create community in many new ways. “Behold, I am doing a new thing!”

Challenging and stressful times such as these call for an even deeper connection to God through worship and daily prayer. With that in mind, we are hoping that you will be nourished with us in the following ways:

SUNDAY WORSHIP: An online Worship Service, led by our pastors and music leaders, will be livestreamed every Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

Saint Mark's Sunday Worship - March 22nd, 2020
St Mark’s Lutheran Church by the Narrows, Sunday Service Sunday, March 22nd, 2020
St Mark's Lutheran Church by the Narrows, Sunday Service Sunday, March 15th, 2020
St Mark’s Lutheran Church by the Narrows, Sunday Service Sunday, March 15th, 2020

Find it on our St. Mark’s Facebook page. You can join us in “real time”, if you choose, or open the link at any other time and be renewed by music, scripture, prayer, sermons, and stories from our St. Mark’s community.

COMPLINE: Weekly Compline services, which include a new musical setting for evening payer composed by Cooper Sherry, will be posted every Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m.

Please see our podcast button on the right. This is a quiet, peaceful worship experience that usually takes place by candlelight. If you listen to it at home, you may want to light one or more candles and find a comfortable place where you can be fully present. Each recorded service will remain online for you to enjoy whenever you choose.

We will post a new Daily Devotion every morning, Monday to Friday, at 6:00 a.m. Our theme for the second half of Lent will be “Come and Gather Beneath the Tree of Life.” These 10-15 minute devotions will feature scripture for the day, a meditation by one of our pastors or deacons, music, and prayer. Each recorded daily devotion will remain here for you to enjoy whenever you choose.
