The center of our life together is Jesus Christ, whose love leads us to affirm our common identity as children of God. In this place for grace, each person’s age, race, gender, sexual orientation, spirituality, special interests, and unique abilities enrich us as the Body of Christ. In that spirit, we gladly welcome you and we invite you to grow with us in love and grace.

Get Connected

Our first mission goal at St. Mark’s is to “engage every person in transformational ministry.” This flows out of our understanding of who we are as disciples of Jesus Christ. It means being a part of the change that Christ is bringing about in this world every day. It also flows out of our baptismal call to serve all people following the example of Jesus Christ and to work for justice and peace in all the world. Secondly, we are deeply committed to the goal of “nurturing communities of meaning, purpose, and care.” Here is where we are fed and renewed ourselves, and here is where we discover the richness of life together with others who are called and gathered by the Holy Spirit of God. In all of this, we also have a shared commitment to “nurture a congregational culture which engages all generations in the faith development of children, youth and families.” We invite you to join us as we live into these goals in ways that open our lives to the love and grace of God.

Faith in Action

Montana, the big sky country. We certainly got a taste of that on Rocky Boy. We had a ridge behind us that had a lovely view of the Bear Paw mountains from the top. The mission itself was scattered buildings; a mission house, gathering hall, and chapel. The chapel has wooden benches and a stained glass window, but it also has the symbols that you see in any church with the symbols of the Native American spirituality. Pastor Linda does a splendid job of incorporating Native American culture with European ideals. As for the people, they are hospitable with the little bit they have. They invited us to join in many of their ceremonies and rituals. We helped deliver clothes to shelters that were donated by people on the reservation. I hope I will be able to return to Rocky Boy Indian Reservation.
