CHRISTMAS PROGRAM AUDITIONS

This year’s Christmas program, on Sunday, December 11^th from 5-7 PM, will be CAMEL LOT, by Cyndi Nine, Rob Howard & David Guthrie.  ALL CHILDREN in grades Kindergarten through 5^th grade are welcome to be a part of this musical. 

 All children who attend Sunday School and/or Joyful Noise and Jubilation Choirs will also be participating by learning songs that will be presented during this program. 

Children not wanting speaking roles but that would be interested in non-speaking roles are welcome to contact Danielle (there are 6-12 non-speaking roles). 

Children with speaking and solo singing roles will need to commit to Wednesday evening practices mid-October through the program date (5:30-6:00 PM for K-2^nd grades; 6:00-7:15 PM for 3^rd-5^th grades).  There are 17-20 speaking roles that we hope to fill.

  AUDITION TIMES:

Any child wanting a speaking and/or singing role will need to do an informal audition for Miss Danielle on either of the following days:

•  Wednesday, October 5th (Choir Room) – 5:30-6:00 PM for Kindergarten-2nd graders; 6:00-7:15 PM for 3rd-5th graders.
• Sunday, October 9th (Children’s Faith Center) – 9:45-10:15 AM for Kindergarten-5th graders

 AUDITIONS:

For SPEAKING roles:

• Memorize a part of any Bible story (up to 1 minute) – specific stories available from Miss Danielle (253-752-4966 x105 or danielle@smlutheran.org)
• At the audition, you will also be asked to read a poem of Miss Danielle’s choosing.

 For SINGING (solo/duet) roles:

• Sing up to 1 minute of any Christmas song (acapella, meaning no piano or other accompaniment)
