The Children and Youth Faith Formation Committee engages in the formation of disciples by providing opportunities for children, youth and their families to be nurtured by God’s word and to engage in activities and worship that will encourage Christian growth.  It shall invite, equip and support members for faith formation leadership and make use of appropriate materials in accordance with this congregation’s confession of faith.

SR ALYVE 9-12^th Grade:

• Sunday School Feb. 5^th in the Fireside Room.
  • Youth Group—Thurs. Feb. 2^nd 7-8pm in the Youth Room, dinner served at 6:30pm.  What does it mean to say I have faith? No meeting Feb. 8th.
  • Holden May Youth Weekend—May 25-27 (Friday-Sunday).  Cost:  $165.00 per person.  $50.00 deposit due and registration form due by Feb. 15th to Ingelaurie to reserve your spot.  Forms can be found on the Youth Board.
  • Youth Hunger Summit—Saturday, March 3rd 9:00-4:00 at Mason Methodist.  Sign up by Feb. 19th. No cost.
  • Compline at St. Mark’s Cathedral Seattle Sunday, Feb. 19^th Meet at St. Mark’s at 7:15 p.m. bring $$ for dessert. We will return around 11:00 p.m.

JR ALYVE 6-8^th Grade:

• 6^th grade Sunday School Feb. 5^th :45 a.m. with Lori and Eric Augino  Jesus of Nazareth
• Confirmation—7/8^th Grade Worship at 9:45 a.m. Feb. 5^th
• Youth Group—Feb. 1^st 6-7:15 p.m. in the Youth Room.
• Montana Mission trip to Rocky Boy—July 6-13, 2012.  Information and applications can be found on the youth board.  $100.00 deposit and applications are due Feb. 5^th.

JR/SR ALYVE to the Seattle Thunderbirds—Friday, Feb. 17th game time 7:35 p.m. Cost:  $12.00 pp. Sign up by Feb. 8th if you are going.  Parents are welcome to join us.

LOL Thursday Night Arts resumes Jan 12th: 5:30-6:30 Culinary Arts or Witness Choir; 6:30 Youth Café (dinner); 7:00-8:00 J.A.M. Band, Theatre Arts, or SR ALYVE Youth Group.

Sub-Sandwiches on Super Bowl Sunday can be picked up following the services on Feb. 5^th.  If you missed your chance to order a sandwich we will have a few extra to pick up the day of. Cost:  $7.00 per sandwich.
