Each year, members of St. Mark’s travel to the eastern suburbs of Tijuana to build small houses for local residents, and to lead children’s programs in the neighborhoods. We do this in collaboration with a great organization called Lutheran Border Concerns. Our inter-generational team works together with pastors of local churches to build community and hope.
In 2017, our trip will take place from June 23-July 1st. If you are interested in being part of this mission team, and are high school age or older, please return a completed Interest Form as soon as possible, but no later than March 15th. There is much interest in the trip this year and space is limited. Forms are available in the church office or from one of the trip co-leaders, Sarah Moore (253/752-0554) or Melanie Summerour (firstname.lastname@example.org).
