St. Mark’s is working with Lutheran Community Services Northwest  to support the hundreds of refugees who will arrive in Pierce County this year. LCSNW has decades of accrued wisdom working with refugees and we are grateful for their partnership! Our focus areas this year are: providing Bathroom kits for newly housed refugees and providing transportation and cultural support for people who are becoming oriented to life in the US. If you would like to assist with kits, a list of needed items is available in the Church Office. If you would like to provide transportation or cultural mentoring, the first step is to complete a background check, also available in the Church Office. Questions? Contact Kathleen Campbell or Deborah Herforth.
