Our preschool is located in our beautiful and newly renovated children’s wing, complete with classrooms, art centers, and a playground. We emphasize the hands-on approach for all of our learning experiences. We support a developmentally appropriate program which allows children to grow and develop at their own rate.
PRESCHOOL OPEN HOUSE!
Monday, February 24, 6-7:30 pm. We invite our new and potential students to come visit us! Meet the teachers, tour the classrooms, and get any questions answered about registration.
Learning, growing, and sharing in God’s love is at the heart of St. Mark’s Preschool philosophy.
We believe that early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploring, and discovery. Preschool children are creative and receptive; the staff strives to nurture and encourage these qualities in the children who attend.
St. Mark’s curriculum includes sharing and conversation time; stories, songs, and fingerplays; activities and crafts; games and large muscle activities; field trips throughout the community; baking, science and nature activities; family nights; chapel; exposure to shapes, colors, numbers, and letters; and celebration of birthdays, holidays, and cultural events.
