Join us for the season of Lent at St. Mark's

There are many opportunities to worship and join in fellowship during the weeks leading up to Easter.

You can also visit Luther Seminary’s Lenten Devotional page to download a PDF (regular or large print) of daily devotionals to guide your reflections during this season.

Wednesday Night Compline

Compline, or “Prayer at the Close of the Day,” is an ancient practice of thanking God for the gifts of the day and entrusting ourselves to God for a restful night.

Each Wednesday, beginning March 13, we will have a Compline service sung to us by a men’s choir. The service will also include time to light candles and pray.

Join us in the Parish Commons each Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. for this annual tradition.

Living Well Through Lent: Practicing Forgiveness With All Your Heart, Soul, Mind, and Strength.

This five-week series will be facilitated by Pastor Sigi Helgeson, using devotional materials from Living Compass. Participants will read a daily devotion on the practice of forgiveness. Weekly discussions will take place on Wednesday evenings at 6:15 p.m. in the Parish Commons Classroom.

Please sign up in the narthex in order to receive your devotional book.
