Ash Wednesday 2023

All are invited to join us at our Ash Wednesday worship service on February 22 at 7:30 p.m. This service marks the beginning of Lent, and we receive ashes on our bodies with the sacred words: “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” If you are not able to be with us in-person, you can follow the livestream of the worship service on our Facebook page and website. And, if you would like to come by church ahead of time to pick up ashes for use in your home worship, feel free to do so any morning before Ash Wednesday.

On Ash Wednesday, we will also be present at the entrance to the church to offer the imposition of ashes and a prayer for anyone who would like to come by for that blessing. Please know that we can also come out to your car, if that is desired. We will be present from 8:00-9:00 a.m., Noon-1:00 p.m., and 5:00-6:00 p.m.
