Holy Week 2023
Holy Week begins with the procession with palms during worship on April 2.
Our songs of praise will echo one of the oldest expressions of joy and thanksgiving known to people of faith. “Hosanna” is both a song of praise and a prayer for saving help. There couldn’t a better way to set the tone for all that follows in the story of Jesus’ Passover meal with his disciples, his courageous stand before the most powerful people in the empire, his sacrifice of love on the cross, and his gift of peace and new life to his disciples.
During the “Great Three Days” of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Eve, we will gather each evening for worship at 7:30 p.m. Each one of these services is part of a whole cloth which wraps us in love, like the quilts that will be given to those who are baptized at the Easter Vigil. At that festive service, we will start the celebration that will continue in the worship services of Easter Day.
As you make plans to be with us, please note that the worship times on Easter Sunday are 8:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 11:00 a.m. There will be an Easter Breakfast served in our Parish Commons from 8:15-11:00 a.m.

They will be posted on our website each morning at 8:00 a.m., and will remain there for listening at any time. Each of the devotion leaders has chosen a favorite song to share, along with reflections on how it has spoken to them in their life of faith. Check out the full playlist here.
