Unfortunately, due to complications as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, our nursery will be closed until further notice.

In this 1st phase of reopening we are unable to have the nursery open or offer childcare safely for our youngest and most vulnerable children. Following Washington State Department of Health guidelines–childcare for license-exempt care programs where parents remain on site-is currently not recommended.

So, what is the best way to have your child/student in worship if they are unfamiliar with the sanctuary or sitting through a service? Good question!

1. We encourage you and your family to sit towards the front of the church. This will help your student see what is going on, what the pastors/leaders are doing.

2. Coloring/activity sheets and crayons will be provided but you might want to bring a book or other activities/quiet toys with you.

3. Make it a game–see what they notice in the stained glass–can they see the dove, rainbow, etc? How many different colors do they see?

3. Yes, we know students/children can be squirrely and can’t always sit still. That’s fine!  Let them move, let them sit on the floor, let them dance in the aisle. It will be so nice to see children once again in worship.

4. But, know that the cry/family room off the sanctuary will be open as well.
