Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but be an example for the believers in your speech, your conduct, your love, faith, and purity. (1 Timothy 4:1)

We are continually formed in faith through the Holy Spirit. Faith formation at St. Mark’s includes worship, Sunday school and confirmation, Bible studies, and fellowship times for all ages, as well as the work of small groups, mission teams, and committees.

Sunday Morning Faith Formation

9:45-10:45am 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sundays of the month September-June

5th/6th grade Sunday School: Students will use the new Connect curriculum to make connections between Old and New Testament stories.

7/8th grade Confirmation: Confirmation at St. Mark’s is a two-year program, where we dig into the history of our Biblical ancestors and look at various faith practices as well as how does faith tie into our everyday lives.  Traditionally students begin the fall of their 7th-grade year and complete their concentrated study on Reformation Sunday the fall of their 9th-grade year.  Youth are invited to join at any time during their 7th- and 8th-grade years.

High School (9-12th grade): meets from 9:45-10:45 in the Fireside Room to discuss how faith and life are woven together. In 2021—youth grades 10-12th will join the 9th graders in class beginning Sunday, November 14.
