On average, our mission and ministry at St. Mark’s needs over $80,000 each month in General Offering income. This supports everything from staff leadership to funding for all our programs and operational needs. It also enables us to give generously to partners in ministry who need our support, now more than ever!

Normally, a large percentage of this offering income comes from gifts that are placed in the offering plate on Sunday morning. So, what will happen when we are not together in this way? An anxious heart would expect that our offering income will diminish and that we will have to make difficult cuts to our ministry in the days ahead. But, as St. Paul said, “God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline.” (2 Timothy 1:7).

So, instead of expecting decline, we are beginning to imagine what is possible when God’s power and love and self-discipline transform a time of potential scarcity into a time of abundant sharing. Together, we know that we can rise to this occasion as a congregation of generous and mission-focused people!

Here are ways that you can make this happen:

  • SET UP AN AUTOMATIC PAYMENT WITH YOUR BANK. This is one of the very best ways to give on a regular basis and we encourage all our members to consider this! And, there are no fees.
  • Mail your offering to us on the same regular basis that you would put it in the basket during worship.
  • Give online by going to this link. This is also a very good way to give, but please note that it does involve a small fee for St. Mark’s.
