The Mission of L’Arche is:

To make known the gifts of people with intellectual disabilities, revealed through mutually transforming relationships; To foster an environment in community that responds to the changing needs of our members, while being faithful to the core values of our founding story; To engage in our diverse cultures, working together toward a more human society.

SERRV International

Handcraft production is one of the largest forms of employment in the world. For many rural artisans and farmers, handcrafting is all they have access to—all they have is the world around them and their own two hands to feed themselves and their families.
Fair trade is a commitment to better trading conditions on behalf of the people who actually make and grow products. Artisans and farmers are paid fairly for their work and benefit from safe working conditions. Fair trade is a system that creates long-term relationships based on dialogue, transparency, honesty, and respect.
Through Fair Trade, we can continue to combat global poverty and work to help artisans and farmers build better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities.
